Game one probs went as expected tbh. Shame about Rance - hope his injury isn't too severe. I didn't see it live but doesn't sound great from all reports.

Bit annoyed that Dustin didn't get called out for pushing in the back on multiple instances.
Still a shame about Rance though.

just a tad bit.
Hopefully the nerves don't mess them up like the grand finals.

Thought Carlton may have been in with a chance there especially with Rance going down but Richmond pulled through in the end

ACL confirmed, gone for the season. Not sure how big an impact it's going to have but it's a massive blow

I reckon Collingwood will get up. Not as confident for Melbourne tomorrow haha.

Pretty disappointing start. Felt like Melbourne was completely cooked by the 20-minute mark today.

Looked quite lost and burnt out after that first quarter. Too many skill errors and our top players/leaders didn't stand up when required.

Hopefully this round isn't a good indicator of what's to come I feel like it might be though

Honestly I can't remember a worse game from any of Gawn, Viney or Jones. Viney reminded me of post-foot Trengove.

Involved in a tipping comp with my family rather than alone this year, as I didn't want to spend every second watching AFL in Year 12  :P

Regrets though, I told them to tip Brissy but they shut me down.  :'(

Not doing individual footy tipping, but the homegroups at school do "class footy tipping", decided mostly democratically. I went with the class tips (including picking Freo over North) except for Brisbane/WCE, made the executive call on Brisbane and had a bunch of 16 year olds lambaste me. Guess who is getting ROASTED by their teacher Monday morning?

Good tip. I considered but went with West Coast. Wouldn't surprise me at all if Brisbane made finals.

Did tip the Dogs, though.
