You're right for the first one but it's B for the second one. Because the distance is so big, optic fibre is needed so that there is faster transmission at segment 3. The last segment is more likely to be a twisted-pair cable than a coaxial cable because it's mainly used for audio and visual purposes (very short distances) e.g. connecting your VCR to your TV.
