I'm failing. I have nothing.
« on: September 29, 2021, 04:26:39 pm »
Hi all.

Just going to say it outright. I'm failing everything. Yes, everything. I have only passed around 4 SACS this entire year. Laugh all you want, it's ridiculous. I think my main reason is my lack of study. I'd much rather play a video game than dedicate my time to studying. When I attempt to study, my motivation levels drop, my focus is nothing and I always end up distracted.

Anyway, with exams coming up, my parents are very concerned and are getting very upset with my results. If I fail English, I have no path in life, they say. And low and behold, I failed my English, History, Literature practice exams. I have no idea what to do.

you have 30 days, start doing some practice exams and just jog your memory on things you've learnt this year. I'm quite ATAR obsessed, but after I saw how many of my friends got into universities with 30-50s it calmed me down. There's always going to be a way out. Someone I knew didn't receive the score they needed last year and simply done a bridging course for like 3 months and then went into their degree. Just work hard now and I'm here to motivate if you need as well!! Don't feel as though its too late, you can improve your score and even if you still don't get what you want, there's always another path.

ur fellow year 12 friend.

Oh I'm so sorry to hear this. It's so hard to find that motivation sometimes. If you'd like, I'd be happy to help you figure out some kind of plan and timetable (at no cost) to get you on track (if possible). PM or email me :)

My advice now is just start doing plenty of practice exams and study like crazy, trust me on this.
