Anyone follow boxing?

It's estimated Mayweather is going to make $130 million from this fight, really hoping his streak gets put in the dumpster before he retires.

Yeah I've seen $320mill and $200-and-something-mill. Pretty crazy. I think Manny will probably win the fight even though I think Floyd is a better fighter (I guess when you want to talk about pure skill anyway). Manny punches on the wrong side for Floyd's defence and has some crazy amazing and imperceptible footwork... should be an amazing fight, hoping Floyd cops a knockout lol.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️

Yes, huge boxing fan here.

This fight should have happened 5 years ago. Yeah it will still be a good fight, but this will end as a split-decision. Then Money Mayweather will push for a rematch, cashing in yet again.

Should be great to see Pacman's southpaw stance against Floyd' defensive shoulder technique. Manny is great at making the ring feel small.

I usually stream all of Mayweather's fights. Not this time. Will be paying $$$ for the PPV.

All good, I'll probably be watching it on a dodgy 180p stream #peasantlyfe

Massive fight.

If any thought Wilder vs Stiverne was a great fight.

This is pretty much another level.

Have to say I love Pacman but I like Floyd too.
Would have to say Floyd wins, he's got everyone he's ever fought worked out.

One week away now lads!

This fight is going to be incredible. Truly fight of the century I'd say. Pacquiao's trainer Freddy Roach was saying Manny respects every single guy he fights, but this is the first time he's seen Manny out to try and kill this guy in the ring. Apparently Pacquiao has promised that he'll knock Mayweather out.

Mayweather knows if he can last 12 rounds he will win on points. Manny knows he isn't winning on the cards. So it will be the ultimate offense vs defence showdown.

Floyd Mayweather stands alone.

Unified welterweight world champion.

The pound-for-pound best.

And king of the era.

Mayweather clearly won the fight on my scorecard. Pacquiao was winning early but was outboxed from the 7th round to the 12th.

Punch Stats
PUNCHES   MAYWEATHER   PACQUIAO
Landed           148                           81
Thrown           435.                       429
Pct.                   34%                          19%
-- Courtesy of CompuBox

Mayweather threw more punches, landed more punches, with a higher accuracy.

To anyone saying it was boring - these guys are welterweights at the end of their careers so we were never going to see a display of power punching knockout artists.

Mayweather is a defensive specialist and deserved the win. He is the master of the sweet science - hit and don't get hit. Anyone expecting anything different from Money in this fight clearly hadn't seen his previous 47 fights.

I'm disappointed with pacman. He complained after the fight that Floyd kept running around the ring. Surely he's watched Mayweather fights in the past? He needed to do more for a win.

Ladbrokes had a $2 special on a Mayweather win. Cheers lads. Bet better.

i agree with pretty much all of this. alot of people who are getting into the fight just because its a big fight and the thing to do this weekend all like manny and from watching the fight would probably say "manny dominated floyd in the ring, always had him on the ropes, did u hear the crowd chanting pacquiao??" but i watch a fair bit of boxing and from about the 8th round it started to look like pacman wasnt really approaching floyds style of fighting any differently to how he treats other fighters, who are far less roy jones-ey than mayweather is. definitely think in terms of pure boxing mayweather deserved it

Mayweather by unanimous decision was easy $$$, would've still liked to have seen pacman win, though.
