Ahaha. Southeast Asian primary schools ftw.
I remember doing double digit addition in Preschool. :D

In comparison, we started that in grade 2. Started multiplying and dividing in grade 4. Started worded problems in grade 5. Started to add fractions (that had different denominators) in grade 6.

If it weren't for my parents, I probably still wouldn't know how to use the computer by now.
0_0 We did photosynthesis in Grade 4. But it was really basic. (Pretty much just Photosynthesis needs the sun and that's how plants make food, and chlorophyll is the reason why they're green).

That's all I remember anyways. :P

That actually more than my bio 3+4 teacher taught me this year (no joke) in unit 3.

Maybe its ur schools, They are like top two in state? Melb, and Mc Rob girls
I think those points Menang made can apply to anyone in any school, as long as they are dedicated to their maths and are focused on improving and having good time management

Haha, I'll let all my little cousins in Asia know that they're doing VCE Biology in Grade 4. :P

@MrIraq: I don't think the exercises are supposed to take an extremely long time. If you're struggling, Methods is something where you should just stop and take a break and come back to it.
If you find it impossible, get help from your teacher. There's no point spending too long on a question. :)

I believe it changes for everyone. If you have that brain capacity, the intelligence, you wont need to study as long as other people.
For example, last years from my school, I surveyed two of the top scorers. One scored 97.5, one 99.35.
The boy who achieved the 99.35 result said that he did around 4 hours of study a day and possibly around 6 on weekends.
The guy who got 97.5, you wont believe it, studied around 6-7 hours a day. And even longer on weekends.
I think he really 'drained' it though.

Too much is not good, too little would do no good.
And to be honest, even though I don't have complete experience, taking weekends and friday's off  would just ruin your VCE studies and eventually your Atar score.

I take friday's off though. Everyone needs a day to relax and refresh their minds.

I simply cannot understand people who study multiple hours EVERYTHING SINGLE NIGHT.. How can you keep that up? In year 12 I only studied when I needed to and it was extremely rare for me to study on Friday or the weekend.

Study to learn--this will dramatically reduce your stress and improve your understanding and hence your results. By my thinking a normal student should need no more than two hours per night on average (Sunday to Thursday)..

M@tty, just my homeworks take 2 hours to be completed lol.
You gotta study extra after that if you want to get ahead of class.
