Title: Heinemann, Jacaranda, Nelson?

Which do you think is the best physics book to get?

From my experiences, Heinemann > Jacaranda.  I have not had any experience with the Nelson book.  However, If you can, get more then one of them, as I find that reading the same information written differently allows a more comprehensive understanding of the material.  (i.e. If one explanation in a book is ambiguous, you can check the explanation in the other book, which might clear up any issues you have etc.)

I have both Heinmann and jacaranda. I think that the Heinmann text is better on most topics, however as dcc said, it is sometimes good to clear something up with a different textbook.

ive got a comprehensive note pack if anyone's interested (in my opinion; way better than a textbook)? detailed notes (in pdf document-one for unit 3 and one for unit4); around 190 double sided
