Possible to get a 40?

Hello guys,
Throughout term 1 of year 12  I’ve done 3 legal sacs, where 2 of them I’ve got an A+ and an A. However I just received my results and I’m disappointed (73% —> results in a B+). I have a big cohort, around 60 students and lm most likely ranked around high 20s ish. Could I still get an 40+ in legal, I’m willing to put in the effort to get a 40 in legal

Thanks

In short SAC scores specifically don't matter much as they are moderated by VCAA. That being said, a 40 is still definitely possible no matter how shit your SAC scores are provided you put in the work and study hard for the exam and score well in it.

The exam will definitely contribute heaps to your study score but sac scores are also very important. Taking an extreme - say you get 0 - 20 for your sacs and somehow full mark the exam you would still only get mid/high 30's.

40 is still possible but I would trying to get your rank up from the rest of your sacs in the year (although a rank equivalent to a 40 would depend on how strong your cohort it).  Your A+ and A show that you are definitely capable of doing very well.
