are Atar notes study guides good?

I'm doing bio 1/2 in year 10 and I was wondering if the atar notes biology 1/2 vce notes would help? is the content in atar notes vce notes good? worth $25?

Not sure about notes, but the practice exams are definitely worth buying. I didn't do any work for bio until around September (when I realised how screwed I was LOL). That was when I started doing questions out of the AN exams for bio. Still winded up with an alright score ^.^ (also, this is for 3&4 bio, so it's probably still relevant to 1&2) Hope this helps!

I don't think notes are that important in 1/2. The content covered by schools are quite different and none of it contributes to your final study score which is what ultimately matters.

For 3/4 - I would recommend either connect education or ATAR Notes if you wanted to get notes that summarised the course.

The 3/4 Bio notes are really good, and I'm super grateful that I was able to get them, because I can already tell how helpful they will be next year. In general, any notes or resources (or just general life advice) by Thushan (the author of the notes and a few others too) is pretty damn good

Personally, i didnt use any notes for unit 1 and 2 as i thought they were not really necessary. i think u shouldnt stress that much over unit 1 and 2 subjects b/c its not gonna contribute to a study score so why put the effort? but u should try to complete all set classwork and homework, i think thats all u need for unit 1 and 2 to achieve a decent score in sacs and exams. but for unit 3 and 4, i do surely recommend them, they are very helpful and condense the info, they can also guide u when u write your own notes. id rather u spend ur money on unit 3 and 4 atar notes, rather than on 1 and 2 notes coz 1 and 2 not gonna even go to ur study score. soz this is my opinion, do what works best for you...
