absolute wack. The questions weren't difficult but I ran out of time and had no time to double check nor finish the exam. Also the probability binomial question omg :(

Lol what a time pressured exam...
The questions weren’t stupidly difficult like 2018, but there was medium to hard questions scattered throughout the paper which made it difficult...

I feel like such a dumbass though, I skipped the tan question to do the harder questions and ran out of time and didn’t get to answer anything for it...

2019:
Biology [42]   Economics [46]

2020:
Methods[41 :( ]
English [42]
Chemistry [47]
Legal studies [44]

ATAR: 99.00

Overall very happy. I was struggling with a question but realised I just messed up my arithmetic and corrected it. Otherwise, trickier than I expected but still super confident with it. Timing was tighter than practice exams but I still finished with time to check my answers.

Was the other solution x=-1?

I got that too!
I got close to that - my answer was wild so I guessed.  :-\

I was very annoyed - I never ran out of time in the numerous practise exams I did!! And this one I left five marks blank. The last ones. Ones I could do.  >:(

I mean I think I did ok, but not well, at all. I liked a lot of the questions, but still, a lot of it I knew I got wrong. :(

what did ppl get for the value of k to have the shortest distance from point P to f(x-k)?

I got k = 5/2
This was when the turning point of the curve was directly above the point P(1,0)
