JMSS 2022 Entry

hey guys
so as you may have read, I applied for y11 entry into jmss, and now looking at the forums, it seems as if people have done their interviews already. I haven't even received an email for my interview offer, not even a rejection letter, and im quite worried now. is there someone I could call for help or contact?? My mother has also been through all of her emails just now and cant seem to find it either. I worked really hard for this and it would be a bummer to see all of this go down the rain because of miscommunication.

I called the school, and they said something along the lines of that some people may get contacted at the start of term four, I'm not sure what this means

Uhh I'm not sure what that means either, but from what I know, everyone received their results as to whether they got an interview or not last Thursday. I believe everyone have already completed their interviews yesterday and today but there may be second round offers idk... The acceptance and rejection letters come after all the interviews have finished.

I'm sorry. that must really suck 

Have you tried emailing the registrar and explaining your situation? When I've emailed them about any questions they were always pretty quick to respond.

So I did, and they reply really fast, but they said they had no interference with the selection process, which makes sense. I called the school and they didn’t really give me any viable information either.

Yeah yeah that makes sense, but should they not tell me I have a second round offer around this time, even though they prioritise the others first?? I spoke to my friend who is at JMSS and she told me that her friend who tried out for y10 entry had the same problem as me, and they said it was an error. However the front desk didn’t mention any of an error, and did not even ask for my information so that they could check. What should i do guys??

Hmm not sure, I hate to break it to u but the chances will be pre slim considering most ppl will be accepting the offer. It really depends on whether they'll be a few ppl declining. But ye I wish u the best of luck man and I hope u do get second round offer!!
