Yeah I transferred groups last year because I literally couldn't find mine and then I did find it later which was unfair because the first group was much cooler than my real one.  My real one was really awkward and the host was all 'lol you might get one H1 a year if you're lucky' and I was all 'um, okay you fucking slacker how did they even let you be any sort of mentor?'.
And then for the 'meet up' he was all 'oh soz lol can't make it today sorry guise'.  Good.

Anyway, the moral of this story is: pick your own group.

Yes, pick your own group. If you meet people and they're in a different group, jump ship. Also, make sure your leader is good (like me). If you get someone who speaks softly and you can't understand them GET OUT NOW

Ask your leader when Sherry Party is. If they can't answer, find a new one. Rinse and repeat as necessary. ;)

IF YOU JUMP TO A SCIENCE GROUP you will have the best time, everyone will be like 'what the fuck why are you here' because typically you are forced to answer questions like 'what major are you planning on taking?'.
Actually you can still slip under the radar with psychology.

But I dare you to say something like cultural studies.

Cultural studies would get you weird looks in an arts group, they're all majoring in one of history/english/psychology or politics

My friend is majoring in cultural studies.  What the hell.
Those things and a lot of 'Media and Communications' majors will pop up this year because it's integrated into Arts for 2011.
