Good luck! Also, so lucky that you only have to wake up just after 7:00 for school. Generally, I leave before 7:00 to study or else leave at 7:45, so I'm up at 6:45.

Thank you, good luck for your thread about getting healthy and feeling better in Semester 2 as well!

15/07/2019 - Monday
Yesterday, I was in bed by 1:30 am when I was meant to be in bed by 11:00 am. But I didn't really feel tired as I also sleep late on Saturday, so yeah not the best start. Hopefully today will be better.

On a more positive note I woke up at 7:00 am but didn't get up until 7:20 am.

Oof. I was in bed by 10 last night but still struggled to wake up in time for school. I don't know how you do it. Good luck getting lots of rest tonight.

Good to see that you're increasing your sleep each night, at quite the pace as well! Keep it up and you'll be right on track for your goal :).

22/07/2019 - Monday
I went to bed at 2:50
Spoiler
because I had to study for a Maths test which I left the revision at the last minute.  Dumb decision. The worst thing is I didn't even finish the test. The teacher was late, like the 2nd bell had gone by the time they came. This was especially annoying for this test because we had to draw graphs which is time-consuming.

Overall, Maths this year hasn't been great. Literally, the only test that I did well in was when the teacher gave us a week of revision (like all lessons in class to revise for that whole week prior to that test). I know I can do better but I just need to work harder and not leave things to the last minute. Any tips?

I woke up at 7:30.

:o This is pretty much the exact same time I slept and woke up today.  :o Except I wasn't really studying for anything (though I had a lot to do).
And I'm probably not the most qualified to give you maths study tips, but I believe consistent practice and revision is absolutely key! (I know, nothing really exciting or 'out there', but it's the only way that I know of, sorry).

Oh yeah, and get some sleep! I know I'll be getting some more tonight.

By the way, I think this is a simple, yet briliant idea! Sleep deprivation is all too common in the Western world, and being sleep deprived for long periods isn't ideal in the slightest (School ain't easy). Yet we somehow find ways to convince ourselves that 12:00am is "early". Do you have problems with sleep/wake consistency? Like, I kind of struggle sleeping well two nights in a row.

One more thing, do you remove all technology from your bedroom at least 30-45 minutes before you go to bed? My bedroom should be for sleeping only, nothing much else.

Yeah I agree with that. In terms of struggling to sleep well two nights in a row, I feel like I'll roll around in my bed for a while before actually falling asleep.

Ha ha, your funny. Yeah, I turn of my technology like 10 mins before going to bed. I should build on that habit. ::)

I’ve also been keeping tabs with my sleeping schedule - have got it down to a habit of getting into bed at 9:30, falling asleep at around 10:30 and getting up at 6am.

For me, I get into bed an hour earlier so I can relax and unwind from all the stress that is university. I turn off my data and wifi on my phone at around 10 and I just force myself to not turn data or wifi back on until at least when I wake up again. It’s worked quite well so far!

Hopefully this helps with your sleeping schedule!

I'll try to incorporate it but I feel like that'll be hard especially during school days.  ::)

Interesting.... ::)
I guess it's improving, just slowly. Though making this journal has helped since it helps to keep my goals in mind.
