What's everyone's opinions on high speed rail? As in if it was fully-fledged in Straya?

I wish there was better transport frequency on a Sunday morning (before 10), if my bus doesn't show up, the train that takes me halfway won't be here for another 40 mins, making me late for my shift

imo there's just way too many people using the trains now, especially if you want to ride the T1 line from Central around peak hour. It gets soooo crazy and I would always end up standing. One time a tradie came on from one of the stops and literally told the nearest seated person to get up from their seat so he could sit down. People can be really unfriendly and I just wish that the government would do something about delays and breakdowns.

Hurstbridge line (Vic)? I had the exact same problem this weekend. I spent more than seven hours commuting across two days. :o (replacement busses are the literal worst)

That moment when you are on public transport and the person next to you falls asleep and you are on the window side and need to get off the train/ bus :D

So my myki was at -$0.20, I put $5 on it, went on a few busses and now we’re at -$0.70. Now my math might not be great, but I think it’s good enough to know that it shouldn’t have costed me more than $5 for my $4.40 daily fare....

The new Sydney light rail is incredibly slow! Much quicker to take the bus. Hopefully, they’ll improve this in the future :)

It's horrible if you're in a rush lol. I just love the no motionsickness.

I absolutely love public transport for some reason, not so much trams but trains and buses are nice, I'm afraid it's some of the people who make me not like it as much as I could. ):
It's always so scary at night as well, I hate that.

Umm, did anyone else see that the myki fares will increase from January 1.
I’m glad I paid for a yearly myki pass in May now.

I seem to remember when a daily Zone 1 + 2 concession ticket in Melbourne cost like $6-something like 5-10 years ago? Am I remembering things wrong?

This often happens yearly.

What's the prices like next year? 😅

I think up by 20 - 40 cents depending on which Public Transport you're using. Doesn't sound like a lot, but over a period of time I feel like it would make a bit of a difference.

>has shift
>finishes at 5
>last bus was at 4:30
>next is at 5:30

Chances it'll be late? 75%
Chances it'll mean I miss a connecting bus to go to a family dinner: 100% if late 😅

Point Cook buses suck 😂
