Hey guys,

What do I need to get on the exam to get at least  46 in English, given that:

SAC 1: ~95
SAC 2: ~98
SAC3: ~97.5
rank: (hopefully) top 5 out of the cohort of 110 people (usually 10-15 get 40+ in English every year)

Thanks

Nice SAC scores! I think you'd need around 53/60 to get a 46 SS although I'm no expert, just extrapolating data from what I've heard and researched.

rank 1 in cohort

Chemistry - 44+ SS
sac 1 = 100%
sac 2 = 96%
rank 1 in cohort

Physics - 40 SS
sac 1 = 80%
sac 2 = 93%

Chemistry 109/120

Physics - you used to need 130/150 for a 40 IIRC ( i didn't do physics)
now the exam is out of 130 so maybe 113/130

Hello,
Just wondering ... if i've got a 23/25 score for unit 3 in economics, what's the highest study score i could get if i do around the same or better for unit 4?
My cohort's not that strong and i'm ranked 3rd.
Thanks!

technically a 50 :)

Although that would be dependent on rank 1/2 also getting 50's or something like 46+

Really? I wasn't expecting that .. and I'm pretty sure I won't get that but I guess there's nothing wrong with aiming high ;)
Thanks for that :)

Hey guys, I am on 93/100 for unit 3 accounting (on around rank 7 in cohort and 93 is a mid A). I was wondering if it is still possible to 50 raw? If not, if i maintain this performance for unit 4 and the exam wat would be my predicted study score range? Cheers!

depends on cohort strength - how high the top 7 exam scores are at your school. :)  and of course your own exam performance

Hey guys I was just wondering what exam scores I would need for:

Literature
- 89/100 (unit 3)
- ranked 4-3/20
- average cohort, the people ranked above me are pretty strong/ambitious though
- 42+ SS

Englang
- 84/100
- rank 3/40ish
- the cohort is a mixed bag, some people love it and want to do well (myself included) but most people only chose it because they thought they wouldn't have to write essays (jokes on them)
- practice exam: around 80%
- 42+ SS

Chem
- 70/100
- ranked 20-18/44 (LOL)
- average cohort but hardworking, can't gauge the top end because I'm not in it rip
- 30-35+ SS

Methods
- 23/50 (yikes)
- ranked 50ish/100ish
- slightly above average cohort  + difficult SACs
- 25+ SS
- although the above score is more realistic, am I still in the game for 30+? If so what scores would I ideally need for upcoming SACs/exams

Italian:
- 34/50
- rank 5/12
- the cohort is a mixed bag, leaning more towards weak
- 30+ SS

Overall, unit 3 has been meh but I hope I can make up for it in unit 4 and the exam.

Thanks AN sorry for the long post!

Hey guys, just wondering what kind of score I need to get a 45+ SS for psychology:

SAC 1: 90%
SAC 2: 100%
SAC 3: 93%

Rank would be around 20/120 and the cohort is pretty strong overall.

I can help with methods and chem

Chemistry
65/120 - 85/120 roughly 30-35 you need a lot of marks to improve your SS around the median such is the bell curve

Methods

For a 30 you will need roughly
21/40 on exam 1
40/80 on exam 2 (using 2015 grade distribution given it was a very fair exam, i.e. not too easy nor hard)

For a 25 you could go much lower say
15/40 on exam 1
25/80 on exam 2

Definitley still possible to get above 30 or even higher!

Anyone know what exam mark I'd need to get a 45 or higher in chemistry?

I'm rank one (sac marks were 90% and 91%, only gotten the first 2 back so far) in a fairly mixed cohort. The top end of it is quite strong but the bottom get low results. I'd say the sacs have been medium/hard in difficulty

If I get 94% average in my SACs for Psychology, and I'm rank 2 in a weak cohort with a strong rank 1, what study score might I get?
