WELL...it's not free unless you had a community card last year.

It should take less time than taking a bus/walking to Huntingdale (yes, it is walking distance) and training it to Caulfield.

As for how long...10-15 minutes I'd say. Never been on there though.

I went to the Open Day.

The bus is not free. You need a community card. I'm not sure how much that costs.

The bus, off-peak, took about 15 minutes. Faster than I expected, and we stopped at virtually every single red light on the way there.

Of course, in peak times, you would expect a longer travel time.

Ah awesome. Oh and about the cost of the shuttle bus:
Quote
In 2008, Shuttle Buses will be free of charge to passengers with a valid Monash University student or staff card.
Taken from the Monash website. http://www.monash.edu.au/campuses/metro/shuttle.html

And yes, there is one from Clayton to Berwick, just not as often. It on that site.
Haha everything is except for traveling times =___=

It cost about $200 or so. It was effectively a subscription to the student union post-VSU.

Free now!!??!

Damn, I would have counted on it taking me around to the city had I went to Monash.

I bet they'll charge soon, demand will mean it costs Monash far too much.

How to get to clayton from melb uni?
Go to the nearest station (Melbourne Central). Take the train to Clayton (Pakenham or Cranbourne line).
