i like maths and science but I think I also have an aptitude for english and literacy - i really like english and writing essays and reading literature  do you think jm has a good english program as well??

I think that they would! I read somewhere that not only do they support and encourage love and passion for science, but other subjects too. I love reading and writing narratives and I'm super into poetry ahaha so its good for me too

i think that if we get into interviews that would be good to mention bc i've also heard that they're trying to push the literacy program.

yikes, i didnt really go for leadership roles bc i'm just not into that thing..... all i really have are reports and academic awards and stuff

Guys just gonna tell u many of u will get into the interview a guy that got in this year only got like 2 sups the main way they get u and cut u is the interview

academic awards and a good report will probably be worth just as much as a leadership role!

yikes i don't even know if I'll get 2 superiors..... maybe in the maths?? lol haha. at the macrob mhs etc selective last year i got 4 superiors, so that's kinda comforting i guess.... but i think jmss will be a lot more competitive.

Don't stress too much about getting tons of sups, I got 2? I think (maybe 3) and I got in The school puts much more focus on the interview than the test assuming you get to the interview

thanks so much! is the interview really difficult because according to other threads i've read it's just basic questions like 'what kind of science do you like'.

I think there's just gonna be some basic info, and there's gonna be teachers available if you want to ask them.
