Try doing a PhD...

I win.

(And yeah, the week 9 break always annoyed me too. Might as well be SWOTVAC).

Apologies if covered elsewhere, but what's your PhD on? How are you finding it? :)

Oxford comma, Garamond, Avett Brothers, Orla Gartland enthusiast.

Very broadly speaking, biomedical science.

I'm enjoying it a lot, although it does take a special kind of person. The 12-hour days on Sundays aren't possible otherwise.

Frankly, if I didn't enjoy it, I'd be off earning a lot more money doing something more lucrative.
BSc (Hons) 2015 Melbourne

PhD 2016-??? Melbourne

I want to be an architect.

has anyone here got any experience doing the intensive mid-sem break subject 'FRST20014 Forests in a global context' ?
Whereabouts in Victoria does the field trip go? do we meet at the uni and drive in together or will we have to make our own way to a rural area or something?

Just a heads up that exam timetables will be released by 5pm and possibly at an earlier time tomorrow. It's always handy to know as soon as possible if you're getting the short end of the stick for exam time. :P

Hsf - Nov 6th/8th
Psych - Nov 13th
German - didn't appear lol

Not bad overall, basically the same as first sem (which makes sense since I virtually just repeated the same subjects). Feeling bad for people with October exams :'(
