What is this thread for?
Welcome to the RMIT University general chat thread. ;D This thread is for anything RMIT-related. If you have general questions, ask them here. If you don't know where to ask something, ask it here. If you want to vent about your day at uni, do it here. If you want to chat about your subjects, do it here. Basically, whatever you want - this is the place for it. 👌

Who can post here?
Anybody! Most will be current students at the university, but even if you're considering studying here, you're absolutely more than welcome to post! Providing different perspectives is incredibly valuable.

Just note that to ask a question or make a post, you will first need an ATAR Notes account. You probably already have one, but if you don't, it takes about four seconds to sign up - and it's completely free!

You know, its weird, I thought I would want to go back to school. Since its pretty much all I've been doing for 17 years, I felt pretty nervous not doing it anymore. But now...like it feels great. What is dis. I remember in uni when i'd get home and play some games or something I would always have this thought like 'I should really be studying' or even when I finished all my assignments I would still have the thought 'I should be studying for the exams instead, this isn't highschool, it's best to study early'. And those thoughts would exhaust me sometimes.
But now when I get home from work, thats it, nothing; what happened at work stays at work. Even when just chilling at home I have no background thoughts about studying or doing extra stuff at work.

Non-uni life rocks~!

I guess ATARNotes is predominalty Monash and Melbourne university students for Victoria, which doesn't surprise me at all.
Unless every RMIT student besides me is just lurking here now.
Jack of all trades, master of none.
Hence why i'm in all these different threads and boards.

I am! Sorry for the three month delay as you can see not many ANers study at RMIT :)

@techno @zofromuxo - where do you usually study on campus if at all?

The impression I get (my brother studies at RMIT) is that you could ask a unimelb student the same question :P

I'm mainly in computer labs since my own discipline has study sessions for us :D

But as @Bri MT alluded too, most of the spaces are being taken up by UniMelb students and high schoolers.

If your looking for spaces, PM and I'll share my 'secert' study spaces.
