Well generally, if you're highly ranked, you basically determine your own study score i.e. how your sacs scale will solely depend on how you perform on the exam. If you're consistently around the high 80 to low 90s, you're looking at low-mid 40s. But if your SACs scale really well i.e. you do well on the exam, then you're looking at high 40s.

What if I’m unit 3 average high 70s and in unit 4 mid 80s? School is which SACs will definitely not scale down and may scale up.

I want to know a potential study score for Physics. Assuming at least 90% in the exam, what is the range of study scores I could achieve?

SAC1 : 92% (Rank ~ 2-4/40  [I'm pretty sure I was top 1 or 2 of my class, but not too sure about the other class]
Est. Average: High 50's to Low 60's
SAC2: 100% (Highest mark in cohort)
Est. Average: 55% (Was largely considered a difficult SAC).
SAC3: 90%
Est. Average:  50-55% (Was considered even more difficult than SAC2)

I estimate my overall rank to be anywhere from 1-4 / ~40-45.
Assuming at least 90% in the exam  (I aim though for 100 and expect at least 95%), is 42+ achievable? And is 45+ achievable?
Thanks.

Can someone possibly predict my score for the below,

Business Management:
Unit 3 average 87%
Unit 4 average hopefully also 85%
Exam: 85%-90%
Rank 1-5 in a relatively strong cohort of around 75 students (we had 50s and high 40s last year)

Economics:
Unit 3 average 87%
Unit 4 average hopefully 85%
Exam: 85%-90%
Rank 1-3 in a small cohort of 14 students

Thanks!

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a 41 - 43 for Chemistry if I am averaging around 70% for Chemistry which should get scaled to at least 80% based on last years results at our school and I get 90%+ and an A+ for the exam?
Cohort Strength is Strong, Median for Chem is usually around 37 and ranked slightly below average.

Hey is it still possible for me to get a 40+ study score with C-C+ grades in unit 3 where it was originally worth 20% but now worth 25% and because of coronavirus U4 sacs are scaled down less (originally 14% now 9%). So is it still possible for a 40+ study score?
In a relatively strong cohort btw
Thank you!

English:
Unit 3: ~85/100 after scaling (ranked in the top 40 students)
Unit 4: ~65/70 after scaling (ranked in the top 30 students)
Exam: 50/60
Cohort is strong. (around 110 people do the subject?) Top end is extremely strong (probably made up of around 20 students).
Do I even have a chance at getting 40?

Hey, I'm not an expert, but based on what I got, I think you are doing better than I did. I got 46/60 on the exam, and possibly similar rankings (?), in an average cohort, and I got a 41 SS for English. So I think you are able to get over 40!

I’m not an expert at this and am just saying you will definitely get over 40 with those scores- maybe even almost 45 your ranking is really good don’t worry. 45/60 or something like that is an A+ so I think you’ll safely get in the 40s

Could anyone predict my study score for psych? It's really been freaking me out and I'm hoping for a 38+

Unit 3: 82% Average
Unit 4: Currently at an 85% Average

Rank: Top 10 out of around 40 students in a relatively strong cohort.

Thank you!

What is the lowest exam score (letter) rank 1 can get in my methods cohort given that I am ranked in the top 40% of a weak cohort for me to get a 42+ [given I get an equivalent exam score to a study score of 45-47 if I were rank 1] and I attain the highest exam score in the cohort?
i.e.
rank 1: B+ exam
rank 2: B+ exam
rank 3: B+ exam
rank 4: A+ exam (me)
rank 5: A+ exam
rank 6: B
rank 7: C
rank 8: D
rank 9: D
rank 10: C

If this scenario does occur, is my chance at 40+ gone?

I think you'll need to average around a B to A to get a study score of 40+ as bad sac results can scale you down in some cases, I may be wrong though, but having a strong cohort will help yet also won't if you are the last in class. That's what happened to someone in my year's further class 2 yrs ago

Hopefully an 80%+ for the exam
Based on last years exam 80% is a really good exam score (mid-A+) so yeah with those scores it is likely to get 40+
