Physics:
-Understand the concepts behind the formulae. This will get you through like 90% of the course.
-Most difficult sections of physics course is (arguably) motion (due to the variation in question types) and electric power (confusing concepts at first).
-learn how to answer the "explain"type questions (key points)
-cheat sheet -->plan/make it during the year (that way it'll be primed and ready to use during SWOTVAC period)
Never done bio but I have a feeling the workload is less, considering the amount of effort/time put into memorising/learning how to phrase questions to gain maximum marks in bio. Physics is mainly learning the concepts and then applying appropriate formulae/using calc to find the numerical answers.
From unit 1/2, most relevant stuff is probably the motion, so try understand the concepts and you'll have a solid foundation for the motion component year 12 physics (which is pretty much the same thing, just with circular motion + gravitational force stuff).
I think that should be about right...
Chem:
-redox
-stoich
-unit 1 irrelevant (the random history and stuff)
-sig figs (just get into a habit of doing it)
(EulerFan101 pretty much covered everything
)
there's a bit of memory work required (like stuff you can't just work out using logic) but that's with all subjects so...
