Slightly modified question: compared to this time last year, how are you feeling? What sort of things were you concerned about last year? What's changed now with a year of uni under your belt?
On the whole, I think I'm feeling a lot better/less nervous!
Last year it was all the worrying about being in a new place where I didn't know people, doing a new thing, getting used to a new system and new style of learning, and before uni started I just had absolutely no idea what to expect.
Now after a year, I know how uni works, I feel more confident because I have a year of knowledge under my belt, I have friends, I know my way around campus, and I feel a bit less out of place. It's amazing what a sense of belonging can do for your confidence.
Apprehensive about the actual content (and increased expectations), because y'know, it's difficult, and I have to make sure I remember first year content too, but I'm also interested in all the new stuff I'm gonna learn, and I know deep down that I can deal with it and I have the reasoning skills, etc. that I need to do well.
