Human behaviours are inextricably linked to our personal motives. Such motives are undeniably shaped by the values of the context we inhabit.

I provided some related texts suggestions for you in this thread earlier on. If you wanted specific examples, I would recommend these talks

Grit: the power of passion and perseverance
If I should have a daughter
Paper towns and why learning is awesome
How great leaders inspire action

They all cover human motivations and behaviours nicely, as well drawing from contemporary values which you can make strong comparisons with I am Malala. Hope one of them works out for you!
