in the rubric, what does it really mean for individual and collective experiences. can you give examples for billy elliot because im so confused

Hi!

So individual experiences would regard certain individuals e.g. Billy's own experience throughout the film whereas collective experiences involve a group of people/the whole of society.

Individual:
Billy's individual experience of loving dance, challenging gender expectations etc.
Collective:
Billy's family being affected by the economic deprivation and the mining strike(which is part of the context), Billy and Jackie finding a profound sense of identity(in different aspects)
