It's so weird learning new piano pieces again. I feel like a toddler.

But the satisfaction when you finish pieces and make them sound polished is worth it though!

Be careful! You may just start speaking simlish! :P (Whenever I open Sims 4, I get so hooked on it 😅).

Melbourne Knowledge Week had insects for sale at their Utopian Foods cafe (the idea being food options that are potentially more sustainable). How could I not try them? :)

Fenner: has no fire alarms for a few weeks

Fenner on Thursday: just a few loud whoops at 1am to keep everyone on their toes

Fenner yesterday: broken valve resulting in evacuation and a floor being flooded and inaccessible for half a day

Fenner (still yesterday), 20 minutes later: lmao how bout another fire alarm whilst they’re still outside

Fenner today: suppose it’s time for a precinct evacuation

If anyone’s keeping count that’s 22 fire alarms (not including the 3 or 4 times we’ve had random whoops but not a proper alarm) and 21 evacuations. Averaging 1 evacuation approx every 5 days.

You know when people just leave their old furniture out on the street and expect council to pick them up? I got very lucky and got myself a free canvas. It's huge and they usually cost $80+. Thank you kind stranger for dumping your canvas on the street.

That's such a lucky find!  ;D
I once found a whole pile of books in good condition. Also, after it had been out on the nature strip for about a week in the rain, I found a scientific calculator identical to mine that still worked, so I now have one for home and one for school!

Changed my bedsheets. Vaccumed my house. Took my clothes out the dryer (after 3 days). All under 1 hour. Is this what adulthood is like?
