What are the similarities and differences on fear in both of the texts above?????

This question sounds like a good point to start note-taking for your comparison essay. You could consider this exploration of the texts by asking yourself "Fear of what?" and then listing some ideas from your two texts about this e.g. "fear of..." - disapproval and criticism, disloyalty, betrayal, weakness or maybe "fear of ..." -  disease, death, punishment, loneliness or fear of romantic commitment. From there you can attach examples of how specific fears are shown in the texts. You could also take each text separately and consider the ways "fear" is featured/represented in each one, and observe the common elements and distinctions used by each author.
