Hey hey, just thought I'd get this thread cracking.

Who's going to ANU? I'm starting a Bachelor of Science.

Also a question - how to I make my timetable?!

I’m doing a double degree B Environment and sustainability/B science.

I haven’t been able to do anything - I got an email with my student number (I think that’s what it is) but they haven’t sent the email with my password lol

That course sounds so interesting! Sustainability was an area I was thinking about going into, but I think my heart lies more in chem.
I got my number and password the other day but can't for the life of me figure it out lol

Ps. Your sewing joke seams pretty good, I bet they feel quilty for not laughing.

Hi everyone,

Congrats on getting into ANU! I was a first year this year (I'm currently studying the Bachelor of Science but have an interest in many different areas) and I'm happy to help with any questions/queries or find someone that knows that answers to your questions for you if you have any. :)

Welcome to ANU timetabling... the official system is best described as terrible. Check out the unofficial timetable builder and use this along with the official timetable site to help you plan your timetable. Only thing to be a bit careful of is that depending on the course enrollment the tutorials/labs/practicals may move around or be added/removed until just before the semester starts but it's fine enough to make a rough plan of a possible timetable for the time being.

Anyone staying on campus next year? It should be an exciting year for on campus students, especially for anyone at the new Bruce, Wright or Fenner Halls.

Hey! Yep I'm staying on campus at Davey Lodge. This timetabling system is very confusing. I've enrolled in my courses but do I get to make my timetable or are all my subjects set?

So with timetabling you don't need to enrol in any lectures, you just show up to them. With tutorials/practicals/labs, you sign up for those classes on Wattle (unless if you're doing certain COMP & ENGN courses, let me know if that's the case and I'll show you the extra system). These spots usually open just before semester starts or in the first week or two. There's no central system with timetabling signup like you may see for other universities.
