I know it't obviously illegal, but I'm yet to physically meet a person who hasn't done it at some point.  There are far worse crimes you know.

How far does that logic extend? It is taking laws and deciding which are 'breakable' based upon personal opinion.

Because thats piracy.

I don't think that is counted as piracy. I think some online stores (itunes? may be wrong) allow you to share music files with up to a certain number of friends.

Mostly unrelated, but something I've heard is if you 'mirror' a video so it's reflected about the vertical axis (all the words are backwards), it's immune to copyright.
