I just realized with the Melb Model, you could effectively do a Finance major or Economics Major without actually having to do the BCom. Here's a suggested pathway for people who originally wanted to do the BCom but are doing the BSc and want to major in Finance. So I assume you want to max out your breadth with commerce subjects.

Finance Major

1st yr
Intro Micro (breadth) (don't actually need for finance major but good to have in case you want to switch to an econ major)
Calc 2
------------------
Finance 1 (breadth) (doesn't have to be in 2nd sem)
Intro Macro (breadth)   (don't actually need for finance major but good to have in case you want to switch to an econ major)
Linear Algebra

2nd yr
Probability
------------------
Statistics
Business Finance (breadth)

3rd yr
Econometrics (must be taken in sem1) (breadth)
Investments (breadth)
Corporate Finance (breadth)
Derivatives (breadth)

Economics Major

1st yr
Intro Micro (breadth)
Calc 2
------------------
Intro Macro (breadth)
Finance 1 (breadth) (not needed for econ major but good to have if you want to switch to a Finance major)
Linear Algebra

2nd yr
Probability
Intermediate Micro  (breadth)
------------------
Statistics
Intermediate Macro  (breadth)

3rd yr
Econometrics (breadth)
Micro(breadth)
------------------
Macro(breadth)
