Anything in the 80-85 range requires a strong interview performance and a very strong ATAR or vice versa - even then you will most likely be offered a BMP which is the lower end of accepted applicants. Of course if you want to get into undergrad med at Monash full stop then that shouldn't be an issue, but I know some people who really don't want a BMP.
I haven't really considered whether I would accept a BMP before. Do you guys know how exactly the one year rural placement for BMP works and why some people are so against it?

So the rural scheme used to be about 5 yrs or something (so a lot of people didn’t really want a place). Now however it’s only 1 yr, taken in batches of 12 weeks or more at a time (approx)

Also - you have a little bit of choice in where you are sent. E.g. go to a more rural place for less time, go to a semi-rural almost metro location because you’re studying something in demand there. You can take the 1 yr whenever as long as its I think within 10yrs of graduating or something??  I would read the officical gov doc and look at the different area classifications. I’m not bonded - but did a bit of research in case I was offered a bonded place.

Are there questions that ask to simplify certain complex concepts in the Monash MMI? I'm getting conflicting information regarding this.

You mean detech right?
I’ve heard there isn’t but people do not want to confirm this as Monash makes everyone sign an NDA!

Yeah, detech. I thought that the NDA disallowed them from telling specific questions rather than types of questions. That's unfortunate. Thanks anyway.
