Title: Civil pre-trial procedures
Post by: Dofu3 on May 15, 2019, 10:16:16 pm
Hey there, first time posting   ;D
What's the distinct differences between pleadings, discovery of documents and exchange of evidence? They all seem to share a lot in common, especially with one of the purposes being something along the lines of reducing the element of surprise. How would you answer a distinguish question relating to the three?

Pleadings is claims not evidence; discovery is a list; exchange is actual copies.
