Would anyone know if I could get into Arts/Law at Monash with a 96.50 ATAR? I get 1 bonus point for being rural and maybe 2 or 3 for difficult circumstances but the 1 point for being rural is the only one that I'm certain I'll get :/

Can't guarantee anything, but you might be able to get in

To come to this conclusion I used Monash's SEAS calculator
and the information on arts/law here

An important thing here is that you should definitely keep that as your first preference if you it's the course you most want. See here if you're unsure why.

Okay, the SEAS calculator bumps me up to a 97.95, so that makes me a little more hopeful I guess :/

Do you qualify for the 'Monash Guarantee' since you have mentioned that you are rural? Bachelor of Arts/Law @ Monash is a guaranteed first round offer if you qualify for the guarantee and achieve an ATAR of 94 or above.

It's definitely still possible - albeit hard to estimate - so I would definitely recommend keeping Law/Arts as your first preference! That being said, even if you don't get in right away you can always complete one year of Arts then apply for a transfer after first year. If you do this, you can also carry over the Arts units you complete in first year to your Law/Arts course

I'm honestly not sure, it's really hard to figure out if I do (but I'm guessing no). I'll contact them and ask and hopefully I do qualify.
