Should I do VCE Maths?

Soooo.
I'm in year 10 about to make choices for my Year 11 subjects.
I am not 100% sure about what I want to do with my future but I came up with a couple of options;
Medical Science and Medicine - Bachelor and Doctor of Medicine combined (takes 5 years).
Law
Or study entertainment business at Collarts
I'd even do something with journalism.

My point is... none of these I've looked at have math as a prerequisite, however, if for whatever reason I can't get in to the specific degrees, the alternatives do require math...

It's not my strong point?
Do I bother?

A couple of my teachers suggested I do, and a couple suggested that it isn't necessary for most degrees...

I need some advice??

Thanks!

Take Units 1/2 General Maths then drop it in Year 12 if you want to. Having basic maths knowledge and skills can be really valuable. Even in journalism you might make choices informed by data/statistics. Year 11 maths can be a prereq for at least most Education courses. I dropped maths in Year 11 then had to pick it up in Year 12 to satisfy that prereq.

May as well keep it for now.
✌️just do what makes you happy ✌️
