Failed unit 4 of methods. What should I do?
« on: September 06, 2021, 05:11:08 pm »
I failed Unit 4 of methods (yay lockdown) which led me to failed the whole unit. bit harsh and unfair imo but thats just how it is.
The course i want to get into requires it and i am spending more time trying to figure my future instead of studying and it is leading me to become more demotivated.  I dont know what to do.

Yo! I am currently in year 9 and I havent started vce yet but i dont think its the end for you.
There are MANY ways to still get into that course and imma list a few of them below.

Monash Guarantee: If your school is a disadvantaged school then you might still get that course no matter the study score or atar.

Course Prerequisite: If your course just wants you to do methods and has no minimum study score listed then it doesnt matter if you failed.

Even if you dont get the course you want, dont be sad about it.
There are SOOOOO many other ways to step into the shoes of the career you want, as long as you're motivated and dedicated to achieve your goal then nothing can stop you.

VCE Study Score Goal (Raw)

Chemistry: 43
French: 41
Specialist: 39
Methods: 42
Physics: 41
English Language: 44

ATAR Goal: 99+
