Perhaps use essentials to do questions and a different book for examples. Maybe the heinemann or maths quest I think theyve got better explainations.
Well perhaps I shouldn't waste many on getting a seperate textbook and just sticking to one. I'll be going for essential.

It's ultimately your choice, but don't compromise your VCE because of a few bucks.. If you think getting two textbooks would help your a lot for methods, then the study score benefit you'll get may allow you to pursue your favourite course in uni. Just my point of view.

Having looked at and trialling several different textbooks, I think Essential is definitely the best.
2008: Mathematical Methods (49)
2009: English (50), Specialist Mathematics (47), Chemistry (49), Physics (49), Latin (44)

We're using Maths world at my school for methods, and heinemann for specialists. I bought these two books, and the essentials books. If your worried about money, just buy the books second hand, they should still be in good condition

Add .rar to filename and it should work, this worked for me.

Free ebooks work just as well ^.^, but i dont like reading the stuff off of the computer.

I've got a hard copy of the methods fourth edition one, but i havent seen a pdf of that around here though :/
