I don't like listening to mainstream music because then I concentrate on the lyrics and not on my homework (:P) but instrumental tracks are too boring for me. That's why I prefer this playlist:

This.

But I'm probably more of a BBC or ABC radio (ie. no sick beats) man while I study :)

I just listen to random albums I haven't heard before straight through. That way I don't anticipate lyrics, and it doesn't mess with my concentration.

Currently listening to: Make Yourself by Incubus
2015: VCE
2016: BCivEng(Hons)/BCom at MU

I mainly listen to some chill old school rap - it really gets you in the mode...

I also listen to some vocal/melodic EDM, in other words, this.

Hi there,

The soundtrack to Hotline Miami 2 is very good to get pumped up to do work and is mostly instrumental, meaning you won't be as easily distracted. It is on spotify, though, so.... ;D

I was actually hoping you would post, #WeTheBestRadio :))

I mostly listen to:
All Jazz styles - John Coltrane, Raw Silk, Miles Davis
Gospel music - For King & country, capital kings, Casting Crowns, Royal tailor etc.
Rock - Breaking Benjiman, Downplay, Killswitch engage etc.
Some rap - (artists like Hoodie Allen, Logic and Em) and old school guys
70s,80s and 90s music - Bon Jovi, The Who, Survivor, Sly and the family stone, Marvin Gaye, Queen, Journey etc.

Pretty good variety actually

Edit: And some classical stuff. Gotta be reppin guys like Mozart and Beethoven. Their piano game too strong!! But I usually just stream this over spotify.
