Can I still get 80+ atar

The hsc has been extended by a couple of days yet its coming closer and i have been stressed from trials. I haven't done as expected from trials and I want to know if I can still get an 80+ atar and how I can improve to do better because currently, I feel down. Below are my marks from my trials:
SOR 1 - 84%
English standard- 65-70%
Math - 52%
Chemistry - 52%
business - 40%
Biology - 40%
Extension math - 40%
Is there any chance for improvement, and if so do you think i can achieve around an 80 atar?

Thanks

I'm sorry that you feel down about your trial results, perhaps you can further improve by doing past HSC papers daily, consistently and email them to your teacher for further feedback for improvement. I hope it helps as this is the way I improve. If this doesn't work, I'm sorry that I couldn't do much to help.

Hi there,

I have just finished year 11 and I am choosing my year 12 subjects. I am looking for some advice :)

I am considering dropping Chemistry. However, I really like it but it's my weakest subject and I studied really hard for it and still only got 58% for my preliminary exam :(

I am also considering taking science extension if I drop Chemistry.

I am aiming for a 95+ atar but will most likely get 90+. I am willing to put in the hard work!

My current subjects are:
- English Advanced
- Maths Standard 2
- Biology
- Legal Studies
- PDHPE
- Chemistry

Thanks So Much!!!

If you really like, then do it, I say!! Everyone starts from somewhere, and there are things you can do to improve your marks, for example if you got a tutor I bet your marks would seriously go up......... if at first you dont succeed, try, try again!!
But one piece of advice from me to anyone choosing year 12 subjects........ dont do VCD.......... do it in year 11, its fun then, but the folio you have to do in year 12 is extremely stressful and every single VCD student I know is going through a massive slump........ unless you really want a career that VCD will assist you in, dont choose it......even if you thought it was fun in year 11!!
Like literally my due date is about a month away and I still havent even finished my Generation of Ideas stage and have no motivation to do it at all!! I havent done a scrap of it for about 2 weeks now................. you stressed for me? well yeah me too
No honestly its not worth the struggle......... unless your super creative

Oh and one more thing!! with VCD the exams are soo long its insane..... with my half year exam, i thought id done really well, and wouldnt you believe it my score was crap, and it happens all the time with VCD........... easy questions, but nowhere near enough time to do it all in, so its not even a good indicator of your ability, if you ask me, because hello I could be awesome at vcd but get a dumb mark because i only got half the paper finished...............stupid stupid subject its ruined my entire year 12 experience >:( >:(
