Thanks for the shoutout; respect count doesn't bother me at all and I definitely don't *love* attention. It's nice to feel appreciated every once in a while.
More importantly, other people might feel more appreciated with upvotes - there's definitely a lot of amazing posts that slip through the cracks, and they don't get upvoted (or only get +1/2's). This is especially true on smaller boards and/or ones that don't get a lot of attention (less popular subjects, states with less users). If you can, take the time just to check them out and upvote a few of the brilliant answers there! You could potentially also find yourself answering some questions you may not have found yourself otherwise answering, there's a lot of overlap between subjects and between states
Go upvote some random, but well thought out posts

here. Go find some other ones too! I know of a few users here that probably should have 5-10x more respect than they currently have given their contributions.
