Even as someone who neither did HSC nor any IT subjects I'm still finding Justin_L's Software Skills thread engaging and interesting to read. Shout out to Justin for the latest post in this collection, which focuses on metalanguage.

piggybacking on the fun_jirachi shoutout, they have made some of the best posts this year in the Methods thread. Don't upvote this post please go up vote fun_jirachi's posts which I'll link below (answering questions often don't get many upvotes and most of the posts are sitting at +1, +2 which don't impact someone's respect count).

I'm probably going to regret posting this given I don't want upvotes on this specific post 🙃 (if you can, downvote this post if it has been upvoted)

Thanks for the shoutout; respect count doesn't bother me at all and I definitely don't *love* attention. It's nice to feel appreciated every once in a while.

More importantly, other people might feel more appreciated with upvotes - there's definitely a lot of amazing posts that slip through the cracks, and they don't get upvoted (or only get +1/2's). This is especially true on smaller boards and/or ones that don't get a lot of attention (less popular subjects, states with less users). If you can, take the time just to check them out and upvote a few of the brilliant answers there! You could potentially also find yourself answering some questions you may not have found yourself otherwise answering, there's a lot of overlap between subjects and between states :) Go upvote some random, but well thought out posts here, here and here. Go find some other ones too! I know of a few users here that probably should have 5-10x more respect than they currently have given their contributions.

One of my parents recommended this career adviser as I have been weighing up my uni options, found him really helpful!
