A child seeing you and grinning all over their face.
Then you crouch down and hold out your arms, and the child runs into them with a very enthusiastic, "Cuddle!"
The age of said child is somewhere between one and two years.

I tutor VCE students and the other day one of my students told me that I had helped him a lot and that he enjoyed coming to my tutoring lessons. Just seeing the smile on his face when he said that made my stressful week so much better.

Hospital replaced the God awful matresses they used to have in psych with actual decent ones since the last time I been here.

Also a nurse gave me a charger for my phone which I think I was meant to give back but havent and it has improved this shitty experience dramatically. Youd think I'd have been in enough by now to know that I should pack.

Having a whole bunch of very nice songs on shuffle and being able to relax 'cause it's uni break and I have no more exams.
What's not so nice (or mildly annoying, or something) is when I get the same song from the different singers I have the albums of, all in a row. Sure, it's different tracks, but it's the same song! (Different arrangement and a soprano rather than a tenor does make it interesting to compare, but still.)

It was absolutely pouring yesterday in Melbourne. I was heading home and had my umbrella out.

As I walk, I saw a lady looking rather uncertain (Lady A). Lady A had  managed to avoid getting thoroughly soaked via sheltered areas from her workplace but she was fast approaching an intersection that offered no shelter. I offered to shelter her with my umbrella and held said umbrella a little higher.

Not even half way to the intersection, another lady (Lady B) shouted from a car stuck in traffic beside us. Lady B must’ve been Lady A’s colleague because Lady A seemed to recognise her. Lady B gave an umbrella via her car window to Lady A, who was super grateful to both of us.

A bus driver got out and watched to make sure friends and I got to our cars safely at night.
