Hey guys,

I just wanted to know on whether I can still get a GOOD ATAR (90+) with these low scaling subjects for next year (2020)?

English Language (scales up by 3)
Health & Human (scales down by 4)
Psychology (scales down by 2)
Further Maths (scales down by 3)
VET Health Service Assitance (only 10% increment which also scales down by 5)

THANK YOU :)

Hey there!

You can definitely get a 90+ ATAR with subjects that scale down, just like you can get an ATAR below 90 with subjects that all scale up.

When you enjoy the subjects you have picked, it is likely that you will find it easier to study for them which is a reward within itself! :)

You may wish to check out this thread which explains subject scaling in more detail.

Good luck :)
