Hi, does anyone know about second round offers. I didn't get in through the first rounds. Here's my results:
Verbal Reasoning - Average
Numerical Reasoning - High Average
Reading Comprehension - High Average
Mathematics - Average
Persuasive Writing - Average
Creative Writing - Average
Is it possible to get through via second round with these scores?
P.S Also signed up for equity consideration.

You did well but it is going to be extremely hard to get in, especially with those marks (no offence, please don't feel bad) best option; what I'm doing; is it try out for year 10

In all honesty, your results will probably make you an unlikely candidate for a second round offer (not to make you feel bad). If you are unfortunate enough to not get an offer though, don't be discouraged! There is always a chance to try again the next year and even the year after. Heck, I didn't make it the first time i tried even though i got superior, but i worked hard, didnt give up and got an offer the next time I sat the test. All the best, good luck and never give up!

Do you have any special talents? Also, depends on what school you go to. I know friends who didn't get a single superior and got in. Stay hopeful and work hard.

I can do Table tennis, Volleyball, Badimington, play the Piano and a bit of the guitar

Sorry to hear you didn’t receive a first round offer. I will be completely honest with you and say that it is unlikely you will receive a second round offer, but it really depends on what school you attend (because of the 5% rule). I received 3 superiors last year and did not receive any offers. Be prepared for the worst and continue focusing on your studies. Not attending a selective school is not the end of the world and continue working hard at your current school. There is an option to try out in year 10 for selective schools if you are still keen. Did anyone get a second round offer for this years exam?

I didn't receive 2nd round but rather 3rd round as I have just received a late entrance into Suzanne Cory.
Make sure you try out next year and don't give up!
