Hi there,

Approximately what sort of scores would I ideally get to be (safely) in good stead for a non-bonded CSP place in the Monash undergraduate medicine course, vs. a bonded place?

Thank you  :)

no atar is safe - I know some people who got 99.85 and didn't get a spot and others with 99.95 who only got a bonded :-/  (both these people had 90+ UMATs)

Although in other cases I know others with 98+ and also 90+ UMAT getting a place. (the interview is 1/3 of the criteria)

Oops, forgot to include the UMAT and interview. Have amended my question :)

It's hard to accurately estimate these things, because the interview is qualitative (from my understanding). So it's not like you can guarantee a place with an 80%+ interview or whatnot, because it doesn't really work that way.

I haven't heard of many students get in with at least one of 99+ ATAR or 90+ UMAT, but I'm sure others are better placed to comment. :)

P.S. This name change of course is so unnecessarily confusing hahaha.

not med student, have family who got unbonded places and bonded places
like above, 99 atar, 95+ umat and a decent interview should make it extremely likely.
smash the interview, and id doubt u wouldnt get a place.
if you're a beast at interviews, than both atar and umat may drop a little, but i heard the interview process is pretty thorough
good luck
