What is the structure/scaffold of a Discuss question? also, what should we include in a topic sentence

What is the structure/scaffold of a Discuss question? also, what should we include in a topic sentence

Hey!

Essentially, a discuss question is asking for the advantages and disadvantages of a particular thing, so I am going to assume you are talking about a strategy. In a topic sentence you would obviously want to state the strategy that you are going to talk about while using a high level of judgement to convey the effectiveness of the strategy. So basically if you were going to write a paragraph you would start with a topic sentence, content/theory of the strategy (ie. what it is) and then go into advantages and disadvantages. After that, you would back up your content with a real life case study such as Qantas or Apple to prove the success of the strategy that business has implemented. Just remember the case study is only really used if you are writing an essay but recent trends have shown that some short answers are asking for case studies.

PS- the question is asking to discuss the performance of a business ABC pty Ltd using the ratios that were provided
