Just to confirm for writing task 1 you were supposed to present all / as much of the info as possible in ur writing? Bc someone I know presented none of the info and said u don’t need to and I’m,, confusion

You were supposed to present the info - it says so in the instructions

What did you guys do for Writing Question 2? I just wrote a piece discussing one of the topics, I dunno if that is what we are supposed to do though.

I got to take my booklet home (one with all the questions), every student is allowed to, did you get yours?

Bro I had no idea what I was doing and I'm not really great at eng... I wrote a really terrible creative piece about Elon Musk trying to convince Abigail Allwood to help him colonize Mars. For the second I wrote about superhero movies all being the same.  They were both very short and messy as I am an extremely slow writer. Was writing something like that for the first piece even allowed ? Whoops

I wrote a persuasive piece about the 3rd topic (smth about progression and new ideas). It was basic persuasive structure but I kinda ran out of time and tried to rush myself so it didn’t rly come out well

I think u just had to give your opinion on one or more of the topics so if u did that then u should be all good

At least now I know what I need to do for next year’s GAT: remember to mark my answers on the question book, not just the answer book. I still remember majority of my answers when I was looking st my booklet, but still... haha next time. I also need to not chill out too much and perhaps add a better dynamic to my writing pieces. They weren’t the most original but hey, I learnt something ;)

Aside from that, we’ve already been getting a ton of GAT memes lmao. All my friends have been sending me them and I’ve been seeing them on people’s stories. I didn’t know GAT memes were an actual thing thing, but I’m glad they are because tbh - they made me laugh.

For some of the English MC questions, I pretty much just gave up reading the pieces and just guessed a few of the answers.  Same with the maths, I am good at maths, but I just did not have enough time to go through everything properly, read it all fully, and work it out.  I found some of it almost impossible to do (at least do it quickly without a calculator, just cause there is so much to it, it's easy to do without a calculator, just takes too much time)

I didn’t do any of the writing or reading questions cos my 3/4s are maths/science — did I screw myself or will my results be unaffected?

I left all the writing completely blank and just guessed ‘c’ for the English MCQs

50/50 situation here.
