I unfortunately won't be able to make it this time due to a conflicting commitment, but hope you all have the best time! ATARNotes catch-ups are seriously one of the highlights of the year and it's so nice to meet great people.

Not sure if you saw but videos and mics are completely optional which might help (I know I sometimes find it a bit draining to have video on if I don't have much social energy). You can drop in & out at times that suit you, so feel free to stay/leave as suits you and your social battery at the time.

Afaik more ANers are introverted than extroverted - idk if that helps with any apprehension people might have. I definitely felt self-conscious at my first AN meetup but people are very welcoming and supportive which definitely helped me :)

Edit: Sine bet me w/ evidence, keeping the message anyway
