JMSS YEAR 10 ENTRANCE EXAM 2019 DISCUSSION

Schedule for JMSS year 10 2019 is as follows:

Information Night is October 11th, 2018 at 7pm

Methods test is October 16th, 2018 at the school

Course Confirmation is November 21st - 23rd, 2018

Orientation Fortnight is November 28th, 2018 to December 12th, 2018 ( okay its actually 2 weeks plus one day )

Year 10 Camp is January 30th to February 1st, 2019 ( 3 days )

All dates are confirmed at this stage.

What happens if I miss the methods test? I have school camp and I won’t be able to make it on the 16th.

How do i apply for the Math Methods exam which is held on the 16th of October? Do i ring up the school or fill in an application form? Or do i get a chance to do that at the information night?

You miss the test then you don't do methods. Please contact the school to make alternate arrangement for sitting the test.

You need to sign up for the test for Methods at Information Night.

I've heard that the orientation day emails have come out for the ones who made it in. This could possibly mean second round offers are most likely over (since if you were first in line for second round they would have sent the offers out to you quickly).

we wont know for sure until the end of october. But i am wondering why they would tell us to wait until the end of october as  the info night is during october.

I never said Orientation Day for Year 10 for confirmed. I said ORIENTATION FORTNIGHT (for year 11) was confirmed.

Anyone else care to confirm about Year 10 Orientation Day? I haven't been told which day I have to work.

jmss was kinda a last minute choice, and i was wondering if u have any good websites i could use to learn more about science. Also, do u know what i need to knw for the test?

Hey sorry, turns out it was infomation regarding the upcoming information night and science electives expo, not orientation. My point still stands, though.
