Poet this just made me believe that you're the werewolf even more.

Owlbird is clear because they're definitely is a medic
Katie is clear because both you and I saw the security guard and we couldn't have both been illusioned the same night

That leaves jeydanaazli as the only other role that could be wrong, but given both you and insanipi are claiming seer, and there's only one werewolf left then they're clear.

I must have been a bit too convincing when I told you how easy it would have been for me to kill you all at this point if I was the werewolf, because you seem to have forgotten that nitwit is a confirmed role, and I'm the only one to have claimed it and we know everyone's roles. Also I don't believe the illusionist gets to choose what roles are shown?

It has to be either you or insanipi, either way town wins, and the simplest answer is that you are the werewolf, so you die first.
I did forget that.

You were convincing, but I also just worked an eight and a half hour day with a ten minute break so excuse me if I've missed the confirmed role

How do we know? I trust you (after you reminded me lmao), Katie and Owlbird but insanipi is claiming the same role as me and jeydanaazli is in question. Do you find it suspicious that insanipi decided to 'investigate' me last night, only after the assassin was gone? It gives her an alibi.

The whole point of the illusionist is to cause confusion - after the lynching, they're just a normal werewolf now (if I'm reading the rules correctly) but beforehand they could do anything.

I'm voting insanipi because I'm convinced they're the werewolf.

Has anyone besides me ever pronounced ANville as "anvil" instead?

The state of ANville

People's stories did not add up, and the town knew it and the least believable was Poet's. Although the constant justifying and explanations, the town did not think Poet was telling the truth, and so she went to the gallows, still screaming and fighting for her right to be alive, but no one was listening. The votes were settled and the town was convinced. As Poet's body fell, insanipi remembered something quite clearly; Poet looked a lot like her twin that had left the family a while back. No wonder they looked similar! Turns out Poet had been tainted with the blood of a werewolf.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The votes for day 4 were broken up as shown:

Spoiler

Here is the updated map of the town.

Spoiler

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All roles have been revealed and are shown below:

katie,rinos (Security guard)
Poet (Seer's Evil Twin)
Erutepa (Vigilante)
Owlbird83 (Medic)
fun_jirachi (Lookout)
insanipi (Seer)
PhoenixxFire (Nitwit)
jeydanaazli (Overprepared tourist)
SlowandSteady (Tracker)
avocadinq (Joker)
S200 (Assassin)

This is Game Over. Congratuations ANville! With 5 people left alive, the town has survived!

For those interested, here is the overview of the whole game, including what everyone did at night and their votes. Hopefully it will be interesting.

Review of the game

This was a wild ride, and I really hope everyone enjoyed it! :)) It was the first in this type of setting, so things could definitely be improved. Here are a few of the changes I was planning on having:

- If we have the same amount of players, an increase from 2 werewolves to 3 should be fine.

- The Nitwit role was kind of underwhelming, so I've tried to completely change them.
1) The Nitwit is no longer forced to visit a house.
2) If the Nitwit does visit, they will stop any action that house was doing (if it's the attack werewolf, they will die)
3) The Nitwit role will no longer be a guaranteed role

- The Joker will have Night 1 protection - The game is way more fun with more deception, and losing them to luck first night really disadvantaged the werewolves

- The security guard may now allow the villager they are protecting to still act their role, this is up to the security guard. No one can enter still.

- The brute has been buffed to have an option between 3 roles instead of 2. 2 made it too easy to identify which was the true role.

- A reward system (I have no clue?) for the winners?

Most importantly, do you guys have any suggestions, any feedback? Was this style more exciting or would you prefer to keep it minimal like the other games? Was it too confusing? Was a role too powerful or underwhelming? Were the night phases too short / long?

And especially, would you play again?

I would LOVE all feedback :)

I would totally spectate again my good friend and host.

Legends have it that to this day, jeydanaazli still thought my girlfriend was a werewolf.

Definitely think there was a bit of luck going on there on both sides (but it's always a bit like that), losing the joker early definitely isn't great for the werewolves, although losing the vigilante on night 2 isn't great for the town either.

I definitely prefer it this way with more roles, am keen for another game, will be interesting to see how it goes now everyone's had a bit of a practice.

But also, I liked my role Blasonduo. Will there be a different guaranteed role to replace it or just less guaranteed?

I wanted less guaranteed roles because I wasn't a fan of how quickly everyone was confirmed, and I felt like Nitwit was the odd one out. If I may ask, what made your role so enjoyable?

A pity noone was willing to play more after my last justification - that was fun! I knew I wasn't going to make it but it was cool. I really hope people can trust me in later games RIP. I didn't have the heart to kill the medic and security guard.

S200 you let me down  >:(

The complexity of the roles gives a depth to the game that I love. I also think that there will be a more appropriate balance to the game once the joker is immune the first night.

I just liked not being a target 😂

Yeah less guaranteed roles will help - once everyone claims roles and it’s down to 50/50 town has it easy. Having the joker around would help a little too.
