Ablation and ESB

Please help I'm so confused!

Questions:

 - What is a key assumption of ablation when used in experimental research on the brain?
- What is the key assumption of ESB when used to study brain structure and function?

Hey Jade,

I'm not entirely sure myself if I've interpreted the questions correctly as they are worded quite ambiguously.
I believe instead of, "What is a/the key assumption", you could replace that with, "What is a key idea of."
1. When using brain ablation techniques in experimental research of the brain, it can be assumed that it will cause brain injury.
2. If electrical stimulation of a specific brain area causes a response, such as the movement of a body
part, then that area controls or is involved in the
response.

Good luck :)
