So, Midnight Sun, the long awaited book by Stephenie Meyer, was announced last night.

Thoughts on the book and/or its cover?

Personally haven't read the Twilight series, but I saw the cover at annoucement time and someone said on twitter: "couldn't they find a more sexy pomegranate" and I couldn't agree more haha.

First thought: WHY DOES IT LOOK LIKE CORONAVIRUS!?!??!!?

Second thought: 'mignight sun' is not a thing. Unless you're in the arctic circle. Is this a book about a vampire going to the arctic circle? If not, I'm not interested.

Probably something to do with contradictions, which Meyer's writing is full of ;)

The Kate of ~10 years ago would have been very happy at this news lol. I remember when the first bit was leaked and everyone lost it!

It's probably titled 'Midnight Sun' because with Breaking Dawn, that was supposed to be a metaphor for the start of Bella' vampire life, so I guess Midnight Sun would mean the eternal life of a vampire since it's told from Edward's perspective?
