"Current" Issues in historiography?

Hi everyone!

My EXT teacher has told us that we need to be up to date with current issues in historiography and the debates. (ie. blogs, twitter discussions, film adaptations etc)

Does anyone have suggestions of specific issues in historiography today? I cant seem to find anything specific

Well, the thing with history is that is so big and so old (duh) that "current" (as I'm sure you can see) is kind of hard to define.

With that being said, something that I learnt at one of the ATARnotes lectures was about how white australia constructs history of Indigenous Australians. As you can expect this is pretty contensious and nuanced. I find that The Conversation seems to always have pretty interesting topics and could be a good resource for something like this.
