I’m grateful that I found this thread so I don’t have to make one myself!
In a developed nation such as ours, it’s easy to just let life rush by and forget about the little things. Electricity, wi-fi, cooking facilities and even an education (never thought I’d say it). It’s kinda sad that it takes suddenly adverse circumstances to fall upon a young person living somewhat comfortably and in a generally affluent part of the world to realise, it’s the little things that often make the greatest difference.
I’ve been quite mentally and physically weak the past few days. I spent pretty much all of yesterday either in bed or questioning why school was even important. I guess it was my body and mind’s way of telling me to slow down and just reflect more often. I think we all should.
And you, ATAR Notes. Where do I begin? I haven’t seen any of you in person, but I’m grateful to all the people on this site and forums who’ve provided support, either directly or indirectly.
This won’t be the last time I post in this thread, I can promise you that. The weather may be depressing, your day may have been terrible, but there is
always something to be grateful for. You just have to look deeper.
